Profile
Mr Popsicle stands amongst the leading Children’s entertainers in Singapore, averaging around 40 performances a month across Singapore. He has performed and delighted families of people like Lim Pei Fen and Ms Tin Pei Ling.
After hours, Mr Popsicle is known to his friends as Ben. Benjamin Wong began his career-journey in 2008 as a close-up magic enthusiast, emphasizing on sleight-of-hand and technical skills. His range increased over the years. Besides close-up magic, he also picked up stage magic in his time as the president of the Magic Club in Republic Polytechnic. He held office in 2015 and 2016. After graduating, he returned to help nurture his budding juniors as mandatory advisor in 2016/2017.
The highlight of his school years was when he came out tops at the Kaplan Open House Magic Competition 2015 sponsored by OCBC Bank and Samsung. He was representing Republic Polytechnic. Currently, he juggles a part-time degree at SUSS alongside his prolific work in entertaining many people all over the country.
Though he is known for his vast exposure in Children’s and Family events. However, his first love is still close up magic. Through close-up he has bewildered and entertained guests in places such as the Grand Hyatt, Regent, and Pan Pacific as a resident Close-up Magician.
